So this is how we do it now

We’ve tried one way, than another

And now it seems there’s no more ways to try

Divided, unapologetic

We led from our hearts, from our rational minds

We created our tribes, brands

Found homes inside of them

Like two spiders dangling from the silk of their trailing webs

Spinning so close to each other, but never touching

Is this where we are now?

The first touch will be an explosion some say

Others are turning their heads and already running away

They come from there, and they come to here

They say those people, they come from there

And they say, we come to here because we can no longer stay over there

Here, they say has changed, won’t ever be the same

They say, change is all we know

We came from there to get to here,

Now, we have no place else to go
